- - - Everyone can learn Reiki Reiki is transferred from a teacher to the student by an “ attunement “ during a Reiki training. It allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of Life Force Energy to improve his or her health and to enhance quality of life. Once attuned you can channel Reiki through your hands and treat yourself or assist others. Your hands are most likely to experience temperature changes when practising. This is the effect of Reiki flowing through your hands. The person receiving Reiki will feel relaxed as the energy reduces physical and mental stress. Traditionally, Reiki training is a stepwise process, passing through the 1st and 2nd Degrees, then Master and Teacher levels. You are free to progress from one Degree to the next if you enjoy Reiki and experience inner personal growth. Reiki training can be quite emotional and intense, that is why all my Reiki trainings are in small groups or “one-on-one”. I am convinced that it is important to my student and to myself to dedicate 100% time to focus, in order for me to give support in all situations as they arise. Your time investment is as follows:
First Reiki Degree The First Reiki Degree takes two days of intensive training. This involves theoretical (history, backgrounds, ethics etc) as well as practical hands-on teaching. Following the first Reiki Degree attunement, Reiki energy flows through your hand and you can now give Reiki to yourself and to others.
The First Reiki Degree includes a follow up after 6 weeks where we discuss changes you will have experienced and clarify questions that have surfaced. If after the training urgent matters or questions arise, I can always be contacted.
Second Reiki Degree The training takes about two days and is available to those who are practicing Reiki at the First Degree level for at least two to three months. The Second Degree Reiki attunement enhances the energy still further. You will be introduced to the three Reiki symbols and the corresponding mantras, a powerful tool to gain more introspection and expand the use of the skills as learned in the First Reiki Degree. The first (Power) Symbol is used to increase the power of Reiki or to focus Reiki on a specific location. The Power Symbol can als be used for the protection from anything. The second (Mental, Emotional and Addiction) Symbol gives you access to hidden regions of consciousness, be it your own or of a person you treat. Mental healing can help you to transform disdirected energies so that the receiver can experience optimism, love, and happiness. It is here that healing for addiction and unwanted habits can be found (e.g. smoking/alcohol/gambling cessation and obsessive thoughts/preoccupation). The third symbol is an essential part of the Second Degree. It lets you send healing energy and mental messages over a distance. This is similar to commonly exprienced telepathic phenomena as we all know them, eg. you think of a friend and at that very moment this person calls you. Reiki energy can be transmitted that same way. You should never carry out distance healing against someone’s will, as this violates Reiki Ethics and may lead to undesired effects. Reiki Master (sometimes referred to as Degree 3A) Becoming a Reiki Master is the ultimate step after having reached the Second Degree attunement. It is a serious step that requires definite preparation. Extended experience with practice in Reiki Degrees 1 and 2 is required and the full use of the symbols is a must. This usually can be done 4 - 6 months after the Second Degree is obtained. Before taking your Master training we will discuss extensively what you will be able to do after you are trained. Will you use the knowledge that will be gained by Mastership for the purpose of healing yourself and others or is your aim to become a Reiki Teacher (degree 3B)? Becoming a Reiki Master involves the introduction to another, very strong symbol and you will feel completely integrated with your inner self. You will also learn to perform the Heart Attunement on others. Only from this stable platform you will be able to introduce others to the practice of Reiki and advance to Reiki Teachership. Reiki Teacher (sometimes referred to as Degree 3B) Sometimes Reiki Masters want to take on the high responsibility to introduce others to the wealth of Reiki. I mention responsibility here since as a trained Reiki Teacher you are on yourself. You should be able to cope with the effects that teaching Reiki might have on your students. It is understandable that being a Reiki Teacher is only an achievable option for those that have reached a complete inner serenity and are 100% comfortable with the energetic interactions between themselves, others and the environment. Being a Reiki Teacher is an enormously rewarding experience. The possibility of training Reiki Masters to become Reiki Teachers themselves helps this effective healing method to spread to the benefit of so many in need. The training for Reiki Teacher will often include us working together on a person that prepares for Reiki attunement and individual arrangements will be made. - - - |
