Support as a practitioner - Suppport as a teacher

As a practitioner

During a Reiki treatment you lie fully clothed on a padded massage table in a warm comfortable room.

I will place my hands lightly and systematically at various places along your body, sometimes not even touching. This includes the head, neck, abdomen, legs,  back and feet.  I will not touch intimate parts of the body.

This gentle touch is maintained for around three minutes at each place, as the healing energy is flowing. Usually you become aware of this process in that you notice temperature changes at that place. Some people see colours.

Sex, age and physical condition are of no relevance as your own body controls the energetic process.

During the treatment the body will only absorb the amount of energy that it requires.

A Reiki session takes typically around 90 minutes and is useful  for specific healing or general relaxation .

The first time you receive Reiki it is recommended to have at least three treatments within 10 to 14 days. This allows the body to work quickly through the processes and builds up a higher and more sustainable energy level for you and me to work with.

After that you can arrange to have treatments weekly or monthly or whenever you feel a need for one.

If you have a long term problem or choose to use Reiki for personal growth then I recommend you to learn Reiki so you can treat yourself.

As a teacher

After having experienced the force of Reiki, you may choose to master the channeling of universal energy yourselves.

As a Reiki Teacher I can support you in discovering and reinforcing your innate healing abilities and teach you how to strengthen your connection with the universal energy.

Reiki is transferred from a teacher to the student by an attunement during Reiki training. It allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of life force energy to improve his or her health and to enhance quality of life. Once attuned, you can channel Reiki through your hands and treat yourself or assist others.

Reiki training can be quite emotional and intense, that is why all my Reiki trainings are in small groups. I am convinced that it is important to my student and to myself to dedicate 100% time  to focus, in order for me to give support in all situations as they arise.

Once having learned Reiki, you should remain aware that you are ‘just’ a channel for the Reiki energy. Your task is to hand the tools to the receiver to heal him/herself.
