We have chickens, a lamb, a pig , a rabbit and two lovely dogs.
My journey with Reiki
In 1996 a very good friend of mine explained Reiki to me and introduced me to her experiences. She awoke my interest and I decided to learn more about it. That was also the time that I realised that there is much more out there as well as in myself, that warranted further exploration.
I searched for tools that could help gaining more access to my inner self as well as for future personal development. I studied palmreading, photoreading, different forms of energywork etc. that were interesting but not really my thing.
I received many wonderful Reiki treatments, which helped me to work out a lot. I understood that Reiki gave me the possibility to grow, to heal my self and to learn a lot about me and others.
In 1998 I reached my First Reiki Degree and in the first 1 ½ Year I used Reiki mainly for myself to work on me. With the Second Degree I started to use Reiki for others.
Looking back over the past 10 years I can say that I worked really hard and that I am proud about what I have archieved, knowing that there will always be things to go trough.
What keeps on fascinating me about Reiki is that when I give it, I feel that the energy flows from my hands and body to the receiver and I know that this will be directed to the right place. This is not because I am doing something so exclusive, but it is the person who recieves Reiki who knows in his/her subconsciousness exactly what to do with the supplied Universal Life Energy. They initiate and manage their own healing process. Factually I hand you the tools and you heal yourself.
I love to do Reiki as a practicioner/teacher since each treatment/training is so different and hence my work stays interesting and exciting. I feel each time very honoured to be able to do the treatment /training and be a part of people’s healing and growth.
I believe that I can be a part of many people’s healing process or personal growth and give the tools needed too, to grow or heal themselves. |
